Revised SOLAS Convention Compliance Various Measuring Instruments
Our company manufactures and sells various measuring instruments compliant with the amended SOLAS Convention. We can accommodate both bulk weighing methods and individual weight summation methods.
Starting from July 1, 2016, it will be mandatory to measure the weight of marine containers before shipment. Under this revision, if the shipper declares the weight of cargo using a method not specified by law to the captain, penalties will be imposed on the shipper. There are two approved methods for weighing: one that measures the entire container at once and another that sums the individual weights. We offer various weighing instruments compatible with each method.
